During his long activity as a curator and publicist Gerald Matt, the director of Kunsthalle Vienna, made the acquaintance of numerous international artists. In these conversations Matt reveals a considerable ability of asking questions, clearly proving that artists are well able to make significant statements about their work if given the opportunity.
