From June 16-18th 2006, the Greifswald Canadian Studies Program hosted an international conference on „Indigeneity and Immigration“ to which individual scholars from Canada, Finland, Iceland and Germany had been invited. This volume collects contributions by Jeannette Armstrong, Lee Blanding, Alison Calder, Warren Cariou, Jo-Ann Episkenew, Jean Friesen, Eva Gruber, Michael Keefer, Kerstin Knopf, Janice Kulyk Keefer, Hartmut Lutz, Darren Préfontaine, Mark Shackleton and Geneviève Susemihl.
