The Wall - then and now

Sobbing, laughing, stammering, singing, yelling, celebrating, people everywhere embraced each other - on television and in front of television screens, in pubs and clubs, at the Bundestag and at workplaces, at the Berlin Wall and before its gates. November 9, 1989 - the Wall has fallen. Twenty years later there are only a few places where you can recognize the course of the death strip trough Berlin and the republic. In this book, paired pictures document how so many streets and places have grown together again, as Willy Brandt expressed it, bringing together what belongs together.
