Since the early twentieth century, radio has emerged as a crucial medium in both society and armed conflict. Its affordability and long-range transmission capabilities have made it integral to the wartime strategies of governments and guerrilla groups. However, the role of music in wartime radio has received limited scholarly attention, despite its significance.
