Each speech is accompanied by separate introductions that provide context, detailing the historical background, specific mission circumstances, and the authors' educational backgrounds and stylistic preferences. The commentary aims to enhance the study of the original speeches, offering a rich collection of parallels from classical sources, including biblical and patristic texts, along with historical details and references to contemporary literature to aid comprehension.
