The voluminous catalogue of an exhibition at Museum August Kestner, Hannover, from 31st Aug. 2017 to 25th Feb. 2018 contains a welcome note by the Great Mason of the United Freemason Lodges of Germany, an introduction by the director of the museums of cultural history in Hannover, a foreword of the editors, 22 academic papers, and detailed information on each author. G. Naumann, W. A. Mozart, and R. Strauss [5], biographies of important freemasons, namely the Egypt pioneer G. B. Belzoni, the printer, senator, and collector F. Culemann, and the Egyptologists H. Brugsch and R. Anthes [4] as well as on Hannover as a centre of freemasonry in Germany in the past, present, and future [2].
