Sport is more than mere physical activity. It is also an integral component of our culture. Sport symbolises team spirit, fairness, and performance, fosters communication between people and different groups, is a key element in the promotion of health, and forms the core of an industry worth billions. Design plays a decisive role at many points, sometimes quite obvious, sometimes in the background. form 275 explores these points of contact – whether in fashion, in the development of equipment for top athletes, graphic forms of presentation or digital solutions. Furthermore, the next issue is also dedicated to brutalism (the topic of an exhibition in the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt/Main as of November 2017), preoccupied with the sustainability of disposables, and presenting the strategic use of design on new transformers at the technology corporation Siemens.
