Road to Berlin

This is a record, move-by-move and day-by-day, of the Allied counter-attack from the D-Day beaches through to the taking of Berlin, with photographs specially selected from the Imperial War Museum and other archive sources. The photographic approach vividly chronicles the tortuous progress the Allies made across Europe to reach their final objective - Berlin, the crumbling headquarters of the broken German war machine.
