Taking you on a journey around the great gardens of Britain, this is a biography of the sweet pea hybridist, Henry Eckford, 1823-1905. Born and bred in Scotland and trained in the gardens of castles, Henry became world famous for his Grandiflora Sweet Pea which he perfected in Wem in Shropshire.
