Sarah and Simon and No Red Paint

The narrative follows siblings Sarah and Simon, who live in a studio with their struggling painter father and baby brother. Despite their poverty, the family finds joy in their simple life and frequent visits to a second-hand bookshop. As their father nears completion of his masterpiece, they face a crisis when they discover they lack the red paint needed to finish it.
