Many children now have impoverished imaginations due to the time they spend on computer technology and the lack of time they can now safely spend roaming free! Because we can no longer encourage children to play outside, they are missing out on a rich store of games and activities that we had access to when we were children. Playground games teach children teamwork, adherence to rules, leader and follower skills and, most importantly, how to have a good time as a result of collaborative group imagination.
