Karoo Boy

In Cape Town, Christmas 1976, fourteen-year-old Douglas loses his twin brother in a tragic accident, leading to his family's disintegration. As they move to a remote town under apartheid, Douglas finds hope through his first love, Marika, and an old mechanic, Moses, with whom he dreams of escaping to find his father and a sense of home.
