The Separated User Interface in Ambient Computing Environments

In highly computerized environments, traditional desktop input devices are inadequate for interacting with complex services. This work explores the potential of mobile devices, gestures, and body movements to enhance user interaction in a world of ambient services. It addresses the challenges posed by diverse hardware and software, advocating for a clear understanding of components and their relationships to improve interoperability. The thesis proposes a model that separates user interfaces from application logic, promoting uniform design and facilitating collaboration among independent development teams.
