It conducts a comparative analysis of mixture versus Eulerian approaches, opting for the latter due to its unique velocity characteristics for each component. Key methodologies include modeling inter-component momentum exchange via Maxwell-Stefan relations and employing a semi-heuristic drag term for porous media. The solver, built on the open-source platform OpenFOAM, demonstrates high accuracy in simulating diffusion-dominated mass transfer and validates porous drag and energy transport through established flow comparisons.
