The Floating Island

The story follows a French string quartet whose tour is unexpectedly rerouted to Standard Island, a luxurious man-made paradise in the Pacific. While performing for the wealthy residents, the quartet discovers a deep division between the Larboardites, led by Jem Tankerdon, and the Starboardites, led by Nat Coverley. As tensions rise between the two factions, the quartet finds themselves entangled in a conflict that could jeopardize the island's future, blending themes of music, wealth, and societal discord.
