Wild Spirits

The story explores the deepening friendship between eleven-year-old Danny Ryan and nineteen-year-old Wendy Marshall, initially united by their shared responsibility for rescued wildlife. As Wendy retreats to a farm after a traumatic bank holdup, both find solace in caring for various exotic animals. Their bond evolves into mutual support, with Wendy helping Danny escape his troubled home life.
