Korea's Divided Families

Focusing on the humanitarian crisis caused by the divided families in North and South Korea, this study sheds light on the plight of hundreds of thousands of individuals separated since the Korean War. It explores the broader implications for human rights in North Korea and fills a significant gap in academic research on the topic. Through interviews with families involved in recent exchanges, the work emphasizes the critical role of addressing this issue in fostering reconciliation between the two Koreas.
