Expounding the Mathematical Seed. Vol. 2: The Supplements

The work of Aryabhata, a prominent 5th-century Indian mathematician, presents a concise overview of Hindu mathematics through 118 verses in his treatise, the Aryabhatiya. Notably, the second chapter encapsulates the mathematical knowledge of the era. Two centuries later, Bhaskara, another Indian astronomer, provided commentary on this mathematical chapter, further enriching the understanding of Aryabhata's contributions to astronomy and mathematics.
