The Devil's Diadem

Set against the backdrop of a plague ravaging Europe, the story follows Maeb Langtofte, a servant in the household of the powerful Earl of Pengraic. While she appreciates the kindness of the Earl's wife, Adelie, Maeb is wary of the Earl's dark and secretive nature. As fear spreads within the household about the plague's terrifying symptoms—victims bursting into flames—tensions rise, revealing the fragility of their lives and the looming threat of both disease and supernatural forces.
