All Possible Wars?

Focusing on defense strategy and military readiness, this survey is a collaborative effort by the Quadrennial Defense Review 2001 Working Group, under the auspices of the National Defense University. Sponsored by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, it aims to enhance understanding and provide strategic options for the upcoming QDR. Key areas of exploration include criteria for sizing conventional forces and developing an appropriate force structure for the years 2005 to 2010, ensuring informed decision-making for future defense policies.
