Intelligent Autonomous Robotics

Focusing on educational applications of robotics, this lecture utilizes the Sony AIBO robot as a case study to illustrate productive use of advanced robotics technology in research and education. It details the development process of the UT Austin Villa RoboCup Four-Legged Team and provides a roadmap for newcomers in intelligent autonomous robotics. Additionally, it documents the algorithms used with the AIBOs, aiming to make them applicable to other vision-based and legged robot platforms, facilitating broader access to robotics education and research.
