Nikola Tesla's groundbreaking contributions to technology are often overshadowed by those of his contemporaries. While Thomas Edison is recognized for the light bulb, it is Tesla's invention of alternating current that energizes much of the globe. Additionally, although Guglielmo Marconi is frequently hailed as the inventor of the radio, Tesla's pivotal role in its development was later acknowledged when the Supreme Court invalidated Marconi's patent in 1943, affirming Tesla's status as the true pioneer of radio technology.
