Focusing on the training of physical education teachers, the study investigates the inclusion of children with special educational needs (SEN). Through a five-stage research process, it gathers insights from government bodies, PE associations, training providers, and newly qualified teachers. Although policies promoting SEN inclusion in PE have gained political attention, the study reveals a lack of systematic implementation at the professional and consumer levels, highlighting a gap between policy and practice in inclusive education.
