In the context of a knowledge economy, this study addresses the critical challenge of transforming knowledge into profitable innovations amid globalization and competition. It explores multidisciplinary aspects, including knowledge management, innovation, design, and artificial intelligence. An integrated approach is proposed, combining knowledge management processes with innovation networking. A Java-based software prototype is developed and illustrated through an industrial case study, aiming to enhance understanding of knowledge dynamics for innovation in design, benefiting professionals and students alike.
