Pretty Broken Things

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of New Orleans' French Quarter, the story follows Juliana, a mortician investigating the 'Carolina Creeper' serial killer. Her search leads her to Tess, a reclusive heiress and the Creeper's presumed last victim, who is now under the radar of a determined novelist named Michael. As Michael seeks inspiration from Tess, he unknowingly draws closer to her dark past. Meanwhile, Juliana races to uncover Tess's location, leading to an inevitable confrontation with the killer.
