Fantasy is far more palatable than reality and that sweet flavor many to believe that poison is healthy and fruits are deadly for, as any politician can tell you, a lie repeated often enough is believed more than truth. Cataclysmic events force this group of people to make the choice between the sweetmeats of fantasy and the bittersweet bread of reality.
