The band

An autobiographical comic describing Mawil's first steps as bassist in a hip-hop school band. This costs him 'blisters on his fingers' but also forces him past his reluctance and reticence to play hip hop and discover music other than his favourites from the 1960's, like the Beatles. Readers get to witness the band thrash their way to competence and watch Mawil eventually move on to playing the music he really loves.
