The festschrift at hand honors Prof. Dr. Ulrich Steinmüller, who has been teaching and conducting research as a professor of German didactics/ German as a second language at TU Berlin since 1983. Contributions come from scientific companions, work mates and Ph. D. students alike. The articles focus languages for specific purposes, the acquisition of German as a second and foreign language as well as educational and cross-cultural topics.
