Volume 5 of Daniel Bernoulli's Works focuses on his contributions to Fluid Dynamics, featuring seven papers related to fluid motion, written or completed in Basel after his time in Petersburg. The volume begins with Bernoulli's letter to Johann Daniel Schöpflin, announcing his unpublished treatise from 1734, where the term "Hydrodynamica" is introduced.
