The Lost Family

Set in 1960s Manhattan, the story revolves around Peter Rashkin, the charismatic owner and chef of Masha's, a popular restaurant known for its exquisite brisket Wellington. Despite his charm and good looks, Peter is haunted by his past as a Holocaust survivor, grappling with survivor's guilt after losing his wife, Masha, and their daughters. While patrons are drawn to his establishment and seek his attention, he remains emotionally distant, consumed by the memories of his tragic history and the weight of his solitude.
