Eye of Cat

Set in a dystopian future, the story follows William Blackhorse Singer, the last Navajo, who must protect an alien diplomat from a dangerous adversary. Teaming up with a shape-shifting alien named "Cat," they navigate this perilous mission. However, Cat has a personal agenda: after the task is complete, he desires a chance to turn the tables on his captor, leading to a thrilling chase where Singer becomes the prey.
