The book introduces a mathematical framework designed for modeling and optimizing interference-coupled multiuser systems, centered around general interference functions that effectively characterize user interdependencies. The analysis is grounded in two fundamental principles: scale-invariance and monotonicity, which guide the exploration of these complex interactions. This work aims to enhance understanding and improve efficiency in multiuser communications.
