Igniting the Flame

Bill Taylor's journey from aspiring athlete to mentor unfolds against a backdrop of personal loss and diverse experiences. Initially on track for success with a scholarship to USC, he faced unexpected challenges that led him through the Marine Corps, ministry, politics, and psychoanalysis. Ultimately, he found his calling as a teacher and coach in Northern California, where he has dedicated himself to guiding student athletes. Since 1979, he has enriched their lives through summer travels across Europe and the Middle East, fostering their growth and exploration.
