Robust Distributed Data Aggregation

Focusing on the robust distributed aggregation problem, this book presents a comprehensive study of existing algorithms and introduces a novel approach called Flow Updating. It addresses the challenges faced by current methods in faulty and dynamic environments, emphasizing the need for improved fault-tolerance and support for network changes. By proposing a clear definition of the aggregation problem and classifying existing algorithms, this work aims to enhance the field of distributed computing, particularly in the context of dynamic networks.
