Round Prairie Inferno

Set against the backdrop of 1858 Central Illinois, the story follows Lycurgus "Surge" Sherwood, a farmer preoccupied with his land until a tragedy strikes. After his sister is brutally murdered by bounty hunters, Surge is thrust into the dangerous world of the Underground Railroad. As he navigates the perilous journey of the Freedom Train, he confronts moral dilemmas and the harsh realities of slavery, ultimately transforming his understanding of justice and courage.
