Set against the backdrop of the British Isles and Ireland, the story follows Keith Doyle, a business major with a knack for mystical studies, as he embarks on an archaeological tour with his best friend Holl. Their journey aims to uncover Holl's ancestral roots and fulfill a traditional rite for his marriage to Maura. However, their adventure takes a dangerous turn when they attract the ire of unfriendly magical beings and human smugglers, prompting unexpected assistance from Keith's girlfriend Diane and the enigmatic Master.
