Within Living Ink: Ascension, Brian and his small crew embark on a quest for supplies on a nearby space station after finding themselves stranded in the uncharted recesses of space; things quickly go awry when they find that those who board the station might never be able to leave.

Sue was born in Essex and has lived in Kent and Dorset. She studied in Canterbury for a Bed (Hons) and later, an MA. A retired English teacher (now a tutor) with three grown-up children, she lives in South London with her two, rather spoilt, ginger cats. She says, "I remember, aged about 6, realising what a metaphor was. I was so excited!" Sue began writing poetry from the age of 8 and loves all aspects of poetry: reading, writing and teaching it. This collection represents what has been a lifelong obsession.
