Robert McLellan war ein schottischer Dramatiker, Dichter und Prosaautor, der hauptsächlich in schottischer Sprache schrieb. Er schrieb auch Werke der dramatischen Verskunst und seine Linmill-Geschichten gelten als bedeutende Beispiele für schottische Prosa des 20. Jahrhunderts.
