Planning for Learning Through Celebrations and Festivals is the latest title in a popular and established series which aims to make planning in the Early Years Foundation Stage practical, easy and cost-effective. There are six weeks of planning around six different themes. Each theme includes two activities linked to the areas of learning to develop children's skills across the Curriculum. It includes sections making plans; using the Early Learning Goals; EYFS Planning Chart; and home links and family page. The themes celebrating diversity; special food and clothes; card, lights and decorations; and music festivals around the world. The activities are designed to develop literacy, numeracy, communication and physical skills and can be adapted to suit individual settings/children's backgrounds.
