Alfred Lys Baldry

    Alfred Lys Baldry war ein englischer Kunstkritiker und Maler, der an der Universität Oxford und am Royal College of Art studierte. Als Schüler von Albert Joseph Moore stellte er in den 1880er Jahren seine Werke aus. Später wurde er zum Biographen von Moore und organisierte nach dessen Tod eine bedeutende Ausstellung von dessen Werken. Baldry verfasste zudem eine Biografie über Hubert von Herkomer und trug so zur Dokumentation der Kunstszene seiner Zeit bei.
