It is Cambodian New Years and Kevin is going to the temple for the very first time ever with his Yei. In Khmer Yei means granny. He quickly gets bored from having to sit still and pray so it becomes hard to stay awake. Just as he starts to fall asleep, a new friend shows up and his adventure begins. He will quickly realize that the temple is more magical than he thought.
