In the Wake of Our Wreckage: Illustrated Revised Edition
In the Wake of Our Wreckage: Standard Revised Edition
    • In the Wake of Our Wreckage is a collection of poetry about the end and everything afterwards. It's a woeful lamentation of a lover who didn't want to let love go but was left behind nonetheless. It's a patchwork of after-stories and post-credit scenes. It's watching love leave. It's years of winter and daydreams of alternate universes. It's the weight of solitude and bouquets of thorns and monsoon seasons and paper crane wishes. It's about goodbyes and old voicemails and longing, forgetting and muscle memory, last words and final hours. It's getting used to the absence and hoping for better endings. It's waiting, and wanting, and making homes out of people. It's witnessing the avalanche and the carnage. It's the aftermath and the ruins. It's everything left in the wake of the wreckage. With revised and extended poems, this edition of In the Wake of Our Wreckage, while still very much the same, to an extent, is already very different from its very first edition too, and I hope to put this out to the world once again to share this story that has already evolved after four years.
