Mary is an orphan in her early twenties. Her complexion is light and she is of medium height. Mary did not have a place to live. She sold items on commission at the market to anyone willing to purchase. The young woman did not own shoes. When Jenn and Mary met, the young woman was wearing all she owned. She worked for Griz and also sold for anyone who was honest in dealing with the young woman. During her time of selling, she also oversaw those younger than herself. She is honest and hard working. Her dream is to have a computer that will give information on what passes through Griz's warehouses. Griz was believed to be about forty to forty-five and is a warehouse owner. He is a large man of dark skin. He buys and sells. Often picking up merchandise for the cost of shipping. This is his total income and Mary serves as an assistant in keeping track of what he has on hand.

A young woman had graduated High School at age fifteen. She likes to read and has a summer break. Then she hears about a new series of books. She purchases book one and takes it to the attic to read. Her mother is busy sewing, so the young woman has time to learn what the book had to say. It was a book that, once started, was hard to put down. She became so involved in the story that it was like being there. Her name was Mara, and she soon was lost in the pages of the book. Things began to happen as she became a woman hired to enforce the law on a planet that did not have much. Currently, she traveled with two animals. A wolf and a horse moved with her wherever she went. Before long, she would have to handle a group of people that were trying to take over the town of her assignment. She found an Ali in the form of a young boy. Then others began to offer aid in many ways. Before long, her group consisted of children, adults, the animals, a mission, an underground city, and enough challenges to keep her busy for the rest of her life.

Dante encountered people trying to find her to hold her for a ransom. In the process, she finds a plant that was not expected. Many primary people are no more. Mari takes on a huge responsibility. Shanna meets a new friend and together they have to solve a problem. Mary contributes a great deal when asked to answer a few questions for Jenn. Hidden children need to be rescued. Large warehouse owners expand their horizons.As each member of the leadership is tasked to take on more and more, the Justice continues to grow and spread their wings. The homeworld of the Saturi is challenged. Jenn has to find some answers and get her group ready for travel.Tamar feels left out and not doing her part. Jenn again has to find a solution. It is a time of growth for all participants.New Allies are ready and willing to aid the Justice group for they petitioned to work with Mari before things began to happen that had everyone confused.
