This book, 'Enduring Words for Enduring Times, ' has been written to serve as a channel of inspiration to feed our minds with words to encourage, challenge, and invigorate us to stay mentally healthy, to stay focussed and to work on our dreams, purposes, and assignments for which reason God created us to journey through this life and into His eternal rest. The quotes in the book were inspired during my moments of quietness in meditation upon God's word, in private prayers before God, and in times of what I may call, "thinking aloud and deep". May God breathe His breath on us as we turn over the pages of this book and feed our minds with these 'foods for thought' so that we may endure the race and fight the good fight of faith till we attain the prize for which Christ Jesus has laid hold on our lives.

It is a reality of life to encounter winds, sometimes fierce winds, that metaphorically speaking, symbolize circumstances which may favour or oppose one's dream or march towards a goal. It is also a reality of life that winds moving in a particular direction, may change direction, underscoring the fact of life that circumstances may change, with or without notice, for either our benefit or to our detriment.
