Strange noises and creepy shadows appear to haunt Paul's private clubhouse. He tells no one, not even his best friend Andy. He thinks it must be his imagination when in the blink of a moment all the eerie sounds and spooky shadows disappear. What is real and what is not? Craziness breaks loose after Paul and Andy attend a meeting of Neighbor Bill's UFO club. Crickets and cicadas seem to change into drones and then attack bugs. A dangerous storm moves in and replaces what had been a clear, starry night, which drives the boys from their backyard campsite into the empty house. Later that night after being awakened by a huge clap of thunder, Paul comes face to face with the source of the creaking sounds and haunted shadows. "They are real!" he shouts. "Nothing I could have ever imagined or made up!"
