Schnyder began creating experimental objects in the late 1960s within the pop art movement, leading to a diverse body of work that includes photographs, sculptures, paintings, objects, and installations. His artistic process is conceptually open, with each new series resulting in innovative arrangements rather than adhering to a single overarching concept. This approach allows him to focus meticulously on his subjects, leading to continuous new conceptions and an oeuvre characterized by discontinuity. In the 1970s, he produced his first paintings, and since then, he has developed a varied painting practice, particularly with small-format series. For the catalog, Schnyder selected 70 images from 2020 and 2021, presented in various formats, scaled at 38% within the book. The catalog design is by Margret Rufener and is published by Galerie Eva Presenhuber in Zurich and New York. The exhibition took place at Kunstmuseum Bern, Kunsthalle Bern, and Secession Wien, showcasing his evolving artistic journey and contributions to contemporary art.
