MEASURE FOR MEASURE

Set in Vienna, this play explores complex themes of justice, morality, and the struggle between corruption and purity. Isabella, a hopeful nun, faces a harrowing choice when her brother Claudio is sentenced to death for premarital sex. Angelo, the strict authority figure, offers to spare Claudio's life in exchange for Isabella's virginity. As the Duke, disguised as a friar, devises a plan to save Claudio, the narrative unfolds with deception and moral dilemmas, ultimately questioning the nature of justice and mercy in a flawed society.
