Theo and Kit have experienced a tumultuous journey as childhood best friends, crushes, lovers, and now estranged exes. Following a painful breakup during a transatlantic flight to a dream European food and wine tour, they believe they’ve moved on. Time apart has brought them personal growth: Theo thrives as a bartender and aspiring sommelier, while Kit, who stayed in Europe, excels as a pastry chef in Paris. Despite their successes, they both feel a lingering emptiness from their past relationship. With an unused voucher for the European tour about to expire, they each decide to embark on the trip solo. To their surprise, they find themselves on the same tour bus, forced to coexist for three weeks amidst breathtaking scenery and culinary delights in France, Spain, and Italy. They insist there are no lingering feelings, so when Theo proposes a wager to see who can seduce their attractive Italian tour guide first, Kit readily agrees. This leads to a playful competition of European hookups. However, as they navigate the tour, they realize that indulging in everything else only intensifies their longing for what they once shared.
