Dies war mein erstes Buch von Elle Kennedy und es stellte sich für mich als ein nettes Buch für Zwischendurch heraus, welches aber leider etwas an Tiefe fehlte. Im Grunde geht es um Abbey, die sich einfach nicht zwischen zwei Typen entscheiden kann. Das ist die Story. Aber es hat mich auch ganz gut unterhalten. Sie einen sehr beschützerischen Vater, den ich aber nachvollziehen konnte und liebenswert fand. Auch Abbey kann ich zu einem gewissen Maß verstehen und bis 2/3 des Buches wurde ich damit auch gut unterhalten, aber dann war das Thema leider "ausgelutscht" und ich habe nur noch gehofft, dass sie sich für den richtigen Jungen entscheidet. Die Nebenstory ist geschichtlicher Sache zu einem Porträt einer unbekannten Frau, das hat mir gut gefallen, auch wenn es am Ende schon etwas überspitzt war. Alles im allen, hatte ich einige Lacher und wurde gut unterhalten. Aber ein zweites Mal würde ich es nicht lesen. Ach und am Ende hat sie sich wenigstens für den richtigen Boy entschieden!
