The publication Acting Together emerged from the need to unite various community initiatives in our vicinity. It features a selection of projects based on intellectual and geographical proximity, recognizing that processes occur within specific contexts, often not aligned in space and time. Their future significance can be observed in conversations, texts, photos, and memories, which collectively shape community identities. The vibrancy of Poznań’s cultural life relies on the individuals who co-create it; without them, initiatives like the Municipal Gallery Arsenał's exhibitions, DOMIE's collective care experiment, and projects for people with multiple sclerosis at Zamek Cultural Centre would not exist. The art field is a complex web of relationships influenced by climatic, economic, political, and institutional contexts, leading to both permanent and temporary collectives. While institutions may solidify ongoing processes, ephemeral groups, like Sandra Art Gallery and local rituals, foster change. Acting together transcends individual experiences, emphasizing interdependencies. Action may not always equate to art; sometimes, it simply reflects life and connection. Drawing from decades of collective experiences in participatory art, we aim to explore privilege, symbolic capital, and the dynamics of relationships that provoke conflict and emotion while fostering agency. This publication aspires to sustain a sense of collective
